Asellus

Asellus is a genus of isopod crustaceans in the family Asellidae.[1] Asellus isopods are commonly called waterlouse, waterslaters, Eurasian waterslaters, and more.[2] They are found in canals, lakes, ponds, and other slow-moving water enviornments.
