Jakusko is a local government area in Yobe State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Jakusko in the west of the area at Lua error: callParserFunction: function "#coordinates" was not found..

It has an area of 3,941 km2 and a population of 229,083 at the 2006 census.

The languages spoken in Jakusko LGA are Bade, Fulani, and Karai-kara.[2]

Climate

Temperatures in Jakusko range from 15 °C (59 °F) to 41 °C (105 °F), rarely dipping below 12 °C (53 °F) or rising above 43 °C (109 °F), and are oppressively hot during the rainy and dry seasons.[3][4]
