MagumeriAudio file "Magumeri.ogg" not found is a Local Government Area of Borno State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Magumeri.

It has an area of 4,856 km2 and a population of 140,231 at the 2006 census.

The postal code of the area is 602.[1]

It is one of the sixteen LGAs that constitute the Borno Emirate, a traditional state located in Borno State, Nigeria.[2]

Climate/Geography

Magumeri LGA has an average temperature of 33 degrees Celsius (91 degrees Fahrenheit) and a total area of 4,856 square kilometres (1,875 square miles). Within the LGA, there is an average wind speed of Template:Cvt and an estimated 800 mm (31 in) of precipitation annually.[3]
