Roman Nikolayevich Yakovlev (Template:Langx; born 13 August 1976) is a Russian former volleyball player. Yakovlev played for the Russia men's national volleyball team that won the silver medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. He led Russia to the gold medal at the 1999 FIVB World Cup in Japan, and was named the MVP of the tournament.[1] Two years later he won the Volleyball World League (2002) with Russia.
