This template creates a link to a road, exactly how Template:Tl works, but without the route markers. The syntax for this template is exactly the same as Template:Tl. Since this template is a shorthand for creating wikitext links, a bot will automatically substitute the wikitext.
Key differences between Template:Tl and Template:Tl:
- Roadlink does not create shields. Jct must call its noshield= parameter for the same effect.
- Template:Tl should not be substituted.
